Alright, let’s get started! Ok maybe you shouldn’t completely ignore your photographer, but the majority of your photos should be about the two of you. When you look at your wedding and engagement photos, you’ll want to remember how you felt that day, not how you were posed.
Unless you’re a professional model, constantly interacting with the camera will cause you to look stiff and unnatural. interacting with your spouse will make your true self come to life.

Our first tip is to take into consideration any extra time-consuming details that may occur at the beginning of the day while you are getting ready. Do you have a gift to open? Are you exchanging letters with your soon to be spouse? Are there any special moments that you want to have with a loved one? Does your dress or tux take an hour to get into? Scheduling time for each of these things will keep you on track and from falling behind.

Allow for more time than you think you will need.

Did you know that Wedding Planners do not just help you plan your wedding from start to finish? In fact, if you don’t want to, you don’t even need to hire them for that part of it. But if your wedding venue doesn’t have a Co-Ordinator included, or you have lots of moving parts during your day, or just want some peace of mind, then you can hire a Planner or Co-Ordinator to be around on the day to help out.

You don’t necessarily need to send out your wedding invitations until around 4-6 months before your wedding date, but with many couples deciding to book their weddings around 18-24 months after getting engaged, it can feel a long time to not let people know about your wedding date!
